The Association is a non-profit organization operating under the auspices of the Art is Business Association, and offers a community to companies that see strategic value in building and maintaining fine and contemporary art collections.

In Hungary, in the 1990s and 2000s, a group of business people made fantastic commitments, committing themselves to collecting classical, modern and contemporary Hungarian fine art. This resulted in the creation of several corporate collections of art historical value. Most of these were built and utilized with good intentions and conscious operation. Unfortunately, dating from 2008, the importance of these collections has faded and most of them have sunk into oblivion.

Art is Business, as an independent organization, has been working on the connection between business and art life since 2019. Since 2022, it has consciously tried to communicate the topic of corporate collections more and more loudly in its media, with publications, training courses, smaller events and conferences. Representatives of several international corporate collections have already visited Hungary at its invitation.

The Association of Corporate Collections was created with the aim of showing the universal Hungarian world of fine arts to the decisive shapers of corporate life and to make the actors see the benefits of collecting. In this way, it can bring a new color to employer branding, corporate branding, wellbeing, ESG, CSR, and the strengthening of a responsible and value-mediating corporate image. 

The Association aims to prioritize genuine professional art consulting and therefore to show its members as diversely as possible how to build collections.
