Founded in 2017, the K-ARTS Art Foundation was established as part of the KÉSZ Group's long-term commitment to supporting the arts, with the aim of developing the K-ARTS Art Collection into a distinguished corporate private collection. The collection focuses on Hungarian contemporary visual art, with particular emphasis on artists working with steel and other industrial materials. It comprises more than 500 works spanning metal sculpture, installations, graphic art, photography, and painting. The collection is curated and artistically directed by István Árvai, who plays a key role in shaping its professional vision and overseeing its presentation.
In addition to expanding the collection, the K-ARTS Art Foundation organizes exhibitions, artists' residencies, and open calls, supports contemporary artists through the acquisition of artworks and by providing opportunities for public exposure, and also participates in the development of creative industry, design, and public art projects. What distinguishes K-ARTS is its commitment to the close relationship between industrial environments, technological expertise, and contemporary artistic practice.
